We got great value for our money at Barra Cottage - the room was fantastic, with new and well-maintained amenities, and stunning mountain views. The location was perfect, with easy access to both the mountains and the estuary, and the staff treated us exceptionally well.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be if they provided a small freezer section in the fridge.

The property is a perfect base for exploring the area, with easy access to the mountains and estuary. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained, with modern amenities and stunning mountain views from the windows. The well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces make for a convenient and enjoyable stay. Additionally, the welcome hamper adds a nice touch of hospitality.
A minor inconvenience is that there is no private garden, only a small seating area which lacks privacy.

The property was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its accessible location made it easy to get around, whether by public transport or our own car. We especially loved the welcome hamper, a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Additionally, the views of the surrounding mountains from the windows were absolutely breathtaking.
One minor inconvenience was the lack of a private garden, as the seating area could be seen by passersby. It would have been nice to have a bit more privacy.
